“The Libertarian Party of Rhode Island has been very busy since reorganizing in the fall of 2010” says state party treasurer Tony Jones “we expect 2012 to be a big year for the Libertarian Party on both the local and nation levels.  we are looking forward to hosting Mr. Person and other national Libertarians in the months to come”
Carl E. Person is seeking the nomination of the Libertarian Party for President of the United States.
He was the New York Libertarian Party candidate in 2010 for the office of New York State Attorney General (which Person feels is the most power elective office in the United States).

Since 1962, Mr. Person has functioned as a Private Attorney General enforcing civil rights laws, securities and other anti-fraud laws on behalf of individuals and small businesses, and for the past several years has become a leading lawyer in the U.S. defending homeowners against foreclosures.
