Gary Johnson endorses Tony Jones, Libertarian for RI Lieutenant Governor

Tony Jones, the Libertarian Party candidate for Rhode Island Lieutenant Governor, has picked up the endorsement
of Gary Johnson, former New Mexico Governor, 2012 Libertarian Party presidential nominee and current honorary 
chairman of Our American Initiate.

“Tony Jones is the only candidate with a clear plan to save the Rhode Island taxpayers over one million dollars a 
year ,” said Johnson. 

Tony Jones, a lifelong Rhode Islander, is a local musician, radio host and blogger. He currently serves as vice 
chairman of the Libertarian Party of RI and is the party’s 2014 candidate for Lieutenant Governor, running on a 
platform that advocates for the elimination of the office.

 “I am honored to receive the endorsement of Gary Johnson.,” Jones said. “Gov. Johnson’s fiscally conservative, 
socially cool political philosophy is much the same as most of the voters I have been talking to while out on the 
Rhode Island campaign trail.”
